Iris Gold, Director of Freiburg Voice Centre based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany and Zurich, Switzerland, Actor, Speaker and Voice Coach with international experience.

She was born in Vancouver, Canada and studied acting at the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, Germany. In 2011 she received her designation as a Linklater Voice Teacher by Kristin Linklater at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England. She has worked as a voice teacher at the musical department, Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, Germany. Currently she is teaching voice and speech at the Zurich University of Arts, Department of Performing Arts and coaches actors, singers and dancers at the Lucerne Theatre in Switzerland.

She has worked nationally and internationally. She offers private coaching for actors, singers, performers and business professionals, leads workshops, inhouse seminars, gives talks about communication, women empowerment, language and voice in English and German.
