Heather is a performer, voice artist, director, writer, Designated Linklater Teacher and the Artistic Director of the Sirius Theatrical Company. As a professional performer (member of CAEA and ACTRA), she has worked across Canada in regional theatre and summer stock companies as well as in film, television and commercials. She has also done voice over work and is developing an audiobook career. Heather coaches actors, speakers, storytellers, singers and presenters on voice and acting technique as well as text. Currently, she coaches privately occasionally offering small group workshops or intensives. Clients include: the Sirius Theatrical Co. (Voice & Acting Workshops, Private Coaching & Show Coaching - 25+ years); Shakespeare By The Sea Festival, St. John’s, Newfoundland (Linklater Training & Show Coaching); The LEAR Project with the Peterborough Theatre Guild (Voice Workshop & Shakespeare Text Work), the York Storytelling Guild (Voice Workshop), Ryerson University (Toronto - Monologues), The New School of Drama (Acting), and Theatre Ontario's Adult Summer Training Program (4 years - Comedy & Acting).
